After more than 30 years serving at tents industry, our founding partner established First Outdoor in 1999. At the first several years, the company had a comparatively small scale and focused mainly on domestic market. However, our partners’ passion for innovation, and willingness to take bold but smart risks changed all that. Since 2002, we have launched new product lines and opened new markets abroad, and turned a small tent company into a diversified, multi-million dollar business.

Now First Outdoor has become one of the largest tent and outdoor gear manufacturers in China and has many clients from Europe, North America and East Asia. While build to order still constitutes a big part of our revenue, First Outdoor has grown to have its own brand“Explorer”. We are now recruiting about 300 employees with total annual revenue of more than 10 million US dollars. On Oct. 1st, 2009, we moved into our own 16,000 square meters plant newly constructed and furnished in the Ningbo Xiaogang Industry District.
